Great variety of food and coffee, but the attitude not so great
I'm giving two because i'm sure there's something that tastes good in this place. I got a tuna wrap -- don't bother unless you like flavorless things. My stomach hurt after this. My boyfriend got a veggie sandwich, he also did not enjoy it. We got a drink which we took MAYBE four sips and had to throw it out because it was horrific.
They wouldn't allow us to redeem a coupon that they lliterally gave out in the first place. The staff is incredibly rude to minorities as my conceens weren't taken seriously and I was brushed off. I would never go there again and suggest you don't too.
Went to get the weekend brunch buffet — tater tots were dry, as were the eggs, and the selection of brunch foods was small. Overall the food was bad and not worth it, and the juices were overpriced.
Treehaus is a great place for breakfast. There is a hot station where you get eggs, sausage, home fries, and oatmeal. There's fresh fruit available too and they even make crepes from scratch. Many pastries are available such as croissants, donuts, and muffins from a Brooklyn bakery. The coffee is great plus there's a rewards card that you get free coffee after the tenth visit.
Decent food and service! Good price if you get the buffet on a plate. The chicken was tender (not like the stuff you usually get at a buffet!) Pleasantly surprised.
Good place for a quick breakfast in NYC
I tried the self-service buffet only, which was nice but hardly a revelation. The breakfast choice is really good though, different kinds of egg, savoury and sweet things and an enormous cup of coffee. It sets you up for the day.Ultimately for me it was a buffet place like all the others, even if it looks a bit nicer.
Delicious, but pricey!
Great food and spread but you pay for it. Amazing choices for a nice big hearty, healthy and fresh meal. But they charge by the weight so be prepared.
Took a while to get our food, but it was delicious.
Good midtown lunch spot, fits the standard profile (soups, sandwiches, salads, hot bar) but I do think the quality of the hot bar is a bit above average.
Absolute must for visitors and tourists. Great range of delicious food, hot off the stove and and simple price payment by the pound. Love it
Large variety of food items here to select from. Even the picky eater will find something here especially during lunch hour when there are several specialty food counters open.
Not visitor friendly. Had to go ask how it all works, food sold by weight but no signs to say. Five of us nearly walked out as no seats, found out there was seating upstairs but no signs anywhere to say so. Also long wait for the food to be made.Come on make the place visitor friendly, after all, it is New York !!
Amazing atmosphere & decorations, a variety of different foods to choose from
Hit this place every time I'm in NYC. Quick and easy breakfast spot with excellent coffee and a killer bagel sandwich.
Since the beginning, I've taken noteso about how this place has evolved, and I just say I am impressed. The TreeHaus sells organic food, beverage and household products, and they have an impressive lineup of live music i.e. jazz.. It has a sidewalk cafe style that's very impressive. During warm months, I'd purchase food and sit outside or just to read a book. Either way, I enjoy what this store offers.
Amazing little spot in East Midtown...delicous breakfast, friendly staff, and great vibe.
I don't have any pics but the food was great. I enjoyed the variety of food choices being offered and the service was quite good.
Ordered lunch for a group, they forgot some stuff - typical. Nothing Earth shattering, just a reminder that nothing is life is perfect! Food was good...will say that much!
Nice place with tasty and healthy food.
We've walked by this place a million times and are so happy we finally stopped in! Delicious paninis (we got the Breaded Eggplant) - we'll have to come back for the great looking salad bar.
Great place to buy breakfast, not too expensive.
This is an excellent place to grab a sandwich. They have a buffet, a coffee bar, and a juice station as well as a full restaurant upstairs as well, but I haven't tried those because I keep coming back for sandwiches. The variety is great, and I haven't had a bad one yet. They also make a great burger, but you can get a better one at some of the really excellent burger places nearby. The servings are liberal, but the price is up there too. This place gets pretty busy around lunch, but the staff knows what they're doing and the lines move quickly.
Don't be fooled! Looks great but absolutely awful food. Worst meal I've ever had in New York and I was so shocked that even the vegetables were rubbery. Don't bother paying for this rubbish! Wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you enjoy the taste of bland, overpriced disappointment.
Good variety of food sold per weight at a reasonable price
Good, fresh food. The buffet has several organic or vegetarian options. It is pay by the pound. Nice variety of drinks!
Treehaus is a great midtown spot for all your daily meals. The lunch has multiple superb food bars including a cold bar, a salad bar, two hot bars including pastas, meats, fish, vegetables, and sides. Trehaus also has an excellent sandwich center, as well as salads, and a smoothie bar! They also do great catering services to your office offering a variety of sandwiches and platter assortments. I highly recommend visiting or ordering for your next meal!
This place sells a lot of different types of prepared food from sushi, chicken, fruit, vegetables, sandwiches etc. They even have a lot of drinks and sweets to try. However, while everyone that worked there was great, and the food looked good, when I got back to eat my chicken it was a bit dry. Additionally, it is slightly on the pricier side at $6.60 1/2 pound.
Came in for a quick dinner to take back to our hotel. The guys at the grill were super nice and the sandwiches were really good. Prices were also amazing. We will definitely be back!!
I find the food to be very good. I hardly ever find something I don't like at lunch time. It is a bit pricey though!
As a visitor to the city, I found the location to be convenient and the food is great. Did not try the buffet but went back two night in a row for the burgers which are cooked and prepared while you wait. Wide selection of drinks and beers. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Fantastic market, buffet, coffee shop, and counter service cafes.
Juice bar, salad bar, a la carts, hot/cold bar and coffee bar. Fresh food. Ok service. The breakfast sausages were good but cheese omelette were cold.
Placed an order through seamless. About 30 minutes after, received a missed call from the restaurant. When I called them, they said that we were 'way out of their delivery range'. They are on 3rd and 51st, I am on 3rd and 57th. They say they go a maximum of 5 blocks away.
Downstairs lunch buffet is awful, selling overpriced overcooked rubbery bland food by the pound that has been sitting on the warmers far too long. Upstairs is a delicious ramen bar that also sells great sushi burritos. One star for the downstairs, five stars for the upstairs. Hard to believe they are connected.
Very expensive for breakfast... I would not recommend it. But rather that Ess a bagel place across from here. Much better and cheaper
Wonderful buffet food with a healthy option. Lots of flavour and something different. Bit pricey but worth it.
Great coffee. Really exceptional and nice breakfast buffet with plenty of choice.
Fantastic variety of meals and snacks to eat in or takeaway. Very very tasty sandwiches. Whilst there's a menu / pricelist for filled sandwiches etc , I found it mildly disconcerting that prices were not shown for off-the-shelf items. Having said that, when you get to the checkout you'll discover that prices are reasonable for the quality you're buying. Did I mention the sandwiches are amazing...?
Good place for lunch in midtown. Hot bar is really good, with a lot of variety and fresh food, but very pricey. Best thing to get are the poke bowls or sushi burritos.
Convenient $12.99/lb buffet serving all sorts of delicious food. Also have hot and cold prepared sandwiches behind the bar, delicious desserts and sushi burritos upstairs! Loves the organic design and atmosphere.
Such a lovely place for breakfast. Reasonable price with good quality food. What I like the most is the large variety of fresh fruits that you can choose for the breakfast buffet.
The fruit in the buffet was hit and miss. For the price they charge, I'd expect ripe fruit. The sausage was ok; nothing I I couldn't get at Denny's. The biscuits were good though.
Awesome breakfast! Good quality. Almost anything you could possibly want for breakfast.
Every time I buy a salad from mixed salad section, I feel sand on my teeth when I eat it. They do not wash their greens well enough! Its really bad for your kidneys. Otherwise the food is fine. They charge too much even for Manhattan.9/21/16 Went back today just to see if my review made a change and they started washing their greens better. Nope, Once again bought a salad at the mixed salad bar and was chewing on sand. That's unacceptable. I'm sure the manager saw this review.
I LOVE THIS PLACE. When I was in New York I ate breakfast at Tree Haus everyday. It's so good and have many food choices. Everyone that works there are nice and kind.
